Are you conducting a new clinical trial or do you need to update a study already published on our platform? Use this form to submit a new study or request changes to an existing entry. All submissions are reviewed by SPOG (Swiss Paediatric Oncology Group) to ensure relevance for families.

Important: This platform is designed for affected families. Please use clear, accessible language that non-specialists can understand. The platform operates in German, French, Italian, and English. Submitters are responsible for providing translations. If a translation is missing, “translation not (yet) available” will appear in that language version. Submitters are fully responsible for the accuracy of the content and must have permission to publish or update the information. Please use the exact text as approved by the responsible ethics committees, without any modifications.

For clinical trials: To be considered for publication on this platform, a clinical trial should be listed on HumRes (www.humanforschung-schweiz.ch) and/or ClinicalTrials.gov


Eligibility criteria

    • Type of trial: Interventional clinical trial
    • Trial intervention: Anti-cancer or supportive therapy (pharmacological or non-pharmacological)
    • Patient population: Includes pediatric patients with cancer
    • Participating sites: One or more SPOG sites

Exceptions (e.g. non-SPOG sites only) can be discussed on a case-by-case basis.

Short, clear summary for parents: purpose, cancer type, treatment line, and key procedures. Use simple language without specialised terminology: "like the flip of a coin" instead of "randomised", "heart disease" instead of "cardiopathy", "neither you nor your doctor will know what treatment you receive" instead of "double blind" etc. Please use the exact lay summary text as approved by the responsible ethics committees, without any modifications.
